Feb 2, 2020 (Bowling Green, KY) – Logan Aluminum was presented the United Way of Southern Kentucky’s “Live United” award for our overall support of the community. Mike Buckentin, President accepted the award on behalf of Logan Aluminum staff.
We are proud of our contributions – volunteerism and dollars – that make an impact in:
- Kindergarten readiness;
- A fun day at our lake for individuals with disabilities;
- Helping young families with parenting skills;
- Making it possible for kids to receive free books through the Dolly Parton Imagination library; and
- So much more!
Logan also received with the following awards:
- Volunteer Investment Award. We were 1 of 5 top organizations with the largest percentage of employee volunteerism in United Way functions)
- Greatest Giving Award. Logan made the largest increase in employee and corporate giving – more than $50,000 over the previous year!
- Top Campaign Award. Logan was #1 for overall giving in 2019. Special Congratulations to Kim Maxfield, Finance, the 2019 Campaign Chair.
- Community Impact Award for Logan’s contributions to Kindergarten Readiness/Born Learning Trail
