Team members represented Logan Aluminum at the two-day SCK Launch Experience event on October 26th and 27th. The SCK Launch is a partnership between the Bowling Green Area Chamber Foundation, local school districts from surrounding counties and local businesses to ensure our future graduates succeed in their careers.
With 3,400 students in attendance, 8th graders had the opportunity to learn about the career paths available in seven different sectors in South Central Kentucky. These career sectors include healthcare, professional services, public services, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, and transportation.
Team members discussed the high-demand positions in manufacturing at Logan Aluminum and the resources available to start building their pathway throughout the community. Students learned about the different manufacturing career paths available through the completion of a bachelor’s or associate degree, on-the-job training, or a high school diploma.
