Congratulations to the Logan team for achieving 6 million hours worked without a Lost Time Accident (LTA). Reaching this milestone reflects everyone’s efforts to recognize and control exposures.
The ESS team had a variety of safety activities on September 27th and 28th to showcase the technology and training opportunities available at Logan. Simulator stations, including the new interactive fire extinguisher system, were set up in the Admin hallway to allow participants the chance to receive hands-on safety training!
The simulator room was open to participants interested in testing out their skills on the fork truck and overhead crane. Vendors, including Honeywell and Grainger, were set up showcasing hand protection products, fall protection gear, electrical PPE, and other products. Medical staff administered flu shots and tested out hydration levels with their the MX3 Hydration Testing System. Team members had the chance to register for prizes, including $100 gift cards, a Dewalt cordless impact wrench, assorted hand tools, and more!
Thank you to our ESS team members, medical staff and volunteers for bringing the fun factor to Safety Week!
